HFP pumps do NOT whine like other aftermarket fuel pumps. - Compatible with multiple fuel types, including regular and ethanol-infused gasoline (E85) This replacement pump will replace the pump included as part of your OEM assembly at vehicle manufacture. It is efficient, quiet, long lasting, and designed to maintain the high pressures that modern fuel injected vehicles require. The HFP manufacturing quality control process is rigorous and comprehensive and pumps are designed to last for 30,000 hours / 100,000 miles. This is a replacement pump that will be a direct fit replacement in the OEM stock fuel pump assembly/housing. In order to use this replacement pump kit, you will need to reuse your original Module/Assembly/Sending Unit. But the Module hardly ever fails (if your gas gauge works, the Module is usually fine and reusable). That’s one of the reasons you’re saving—we don’t insist you replace the whole Assembly. We just provide a replacement for the failed electric pump.
