【追加ギフトのドリフト修正PCB】– ジョイスティックのドリフトはよくある問題です。新しいジョイスティックでもドリフトすることがあります。ポテンショメータは精度なしで生まれました。カーボンフィルムの摩耗、バネの疲労、材料の伸びにより、中央に配置されませんでした。ほこり、湿気、落下によりさらに悪化します。一方向へのドリフトの問題を解決するために、PCBをギフトとして梱包しました。可変抵抗器を調整するだけでドリフトを解消できます。

EL7 FU 2.3K for PS5 controller
4x Replacement analog joystick is used in PlayStation 5 DualSense wireless controllers. The OEM repair part was made by Favor Union (FU). EL7 comes with 2.3K side trim pot resistors in orange color. (Be noticed: FU is also the supplier to PS4 and PS3 DualShock, please go to EL2 for the 10K version.). PS5 controllers use two kinds joysticks from two different manufacturers. EL7 was made by Favor Union (FU), while EL6 was from ALPS. The 14 prongs were positioned as the same. EL7 and EL6 are interchangeable with each other

It’s a hard time to de-solder the problem module with as many as 14 prongs. We figured out possible ways for your reference:

✔ Replace the white disc alone even without soldering
In some cases, you can just replace the little wheel in the potentiometer sensor to solve some specific problems like: Dead spot, blind spot, dead zone, creeping, or not as responsive as it should be
✔ Replace the potentiometer sensor alone with an iron
According to some estimates, 80% chances of joystick problem was caused by the potentiometer. In another words, the rotary mechanism and the tactile switches are not the problem. You can simply replace the side potentiometer sensor alone to solve most of the problems
✔ A heat gun to replace the whole module
This is the most suggested for an experienced soldering expert
✔ Experts with a normal iron to replace the whole unit
For a soldering expert with no professional de-soldering wick braid, solder sucker pump or hot air rework station at hand. We suggest crushing the problem joystick into small enough pieces with a pair of pliers. It will be more easier than de-soldering the entire 14Pin unit
✔ By professional technicians in a cellphone repair shop
Suggested for someone with no handy tools
