Doki-doki! Romance Anime to Watch on Valentine's Day

Starting from childhood, I've intermittently watched numerous romantic anime series. Back then, I didn't understand much, but as I grew up, I found myself blushing and feeling my heart race. Here, I've compiled a list of five incredibly sweet anime series for your reference, ensuring each one is packed with sweetness!

Ouran High School Host Club (2006)

The anime television series focuses on the romance story between Haruhi Fujioka and Tamaki Suou.  Haruhi unintentionally breaks a vase worth 8 million yen. Although Haruhi has no interest in the host club, is forced to join the club to repay for the broken vase. Haruhi hides the fact that she is a girl. And before long, Haruhi is promoted to full-time male host. This is a story about a commoner struggling in a noble school with six male members of the host club.

Maid Sama! (2010)

Seikai High, once an all-boys high school that was infamous for its rowdy students become a co-ed school. Misaki Ayuzawa, as the first female student council president, works hard to make the school a better place for girls. In the meantime, she secretly works at a maid cafe to support her family. Her secret is discovered by Takumi Usui, a popular boy at Setikai High. This is a sweet but interesting story about the class president girl and the genius boy.

Tsuredure Children (Tedious Children) (2017)

This anime is so sweet! Adolescent love is always beautiful, and it is also in more than one form. Love stories between childhood friends, playgirl and serious boy, senior and junior, and classmates…… whether they spoken or not spoken their love to each other, are the sweetest memories belonging to them. The anime tells various romantic stories and there should be a story you will like!

Wolf Girl and Black Prince (2014)

This is a romance story between Erika Shinohara, who is forced to become a "Wolf Girl" by acting like a pet to the boy, Kyoya Sata,  who is dark-hearted with a prince appearance. It's well worth watching!

Tsuki ga Kirei (As the Moon, So Beautiful.) (2017)

"The beautiful moonlight tonight," is a translation of "I love you" by Japanese writer Natsume Sōseki. The anime used that phrase as the title because Kotarō confesses his love to Akane under the shining light of a beautiful full moon. This is a romance story that follows the lives of two students who fall in love.
